MAX VS. POPCORN KERNEL

Let me paint the picture for you.... I am at Young Woman's and I get a text from the hubby. I read "Max has a popcorn kernel stuck in his hear." I couldn't believe it! I could not stop laughing. I called to make sure what I was reading was true. Oh, was it true! I got home and little Max was just crying and the kernel was stuck. Clear down there. We called a few docs in our ward asking for some advice and also the on call pedeatrician. We tried all of their suggestions, except taking him to the ER. That was our next step. After about an hour or so we decided to give it one more. We pinned Max down, while he was screaming and kicking, and the "Winner" Daddy finally pulled it out with these scissor/tweezer things. Hooray! The pictures explain the rest. Tell me this happens to every child????

I can't believe he stuck a popcorn kernel in his ear. That is so funny and sad at the same time! My sister got a black jelly bean stuck up her nose when we were little. Is that kind of the same. I am glad that everything worked out good in the end! Good job getting it out!

Hilarious! I can remember when I got a plastic bead stuck up my nose and my Dad had to get it out with sweezers. I guess it's just on of those things you have to experience at least once in your life. Cute kids, they look so much like their daddy, super cute!!!

Poor guy! Zoe stuck something up her nose once and it was there for 3 days before we knew. It stunk so bad. We had to take her to the ENT to get it out. Glad you guys got it out on your own.

So, last night when you were talking about this I was a little confused. But, this is hilarious. And the best part...it happened when he was under DAD's care! :) Glad to know everything came out okay!

My son got a bead from a candy necklace stuck up his nose! It was horrible. What saved us was that eventually it disolved enough for him to blow it out.. but it was an ordeal.. We could not figure out what he was thinking! Thank goodness it was just candy!

I think I stuck everything in my nose and ears when I was young. I am sure my girls will pay me back some day! Poor Max!

Ha ha ha! Your boys are so cute...and don't worry, we already had an incident with Janie (except it was her nose instead of her ear!). So good to hear from you. Looks like you guys are doing well. Miss you guys!

Kortni,

Annie told me yesterday that she had popcorn stuck in her ear. Ha ha! Yes, my kids had been looking at your blog with me the other day. They were pretty concerned about Maxy. Anyway, we miss you. Hurry "home".

How scary! That is my worst fear! Good thing Justin is sort of trained to deal with that. Does he eat popcorn anymore or has he been forever traumatized?

Poor little Max. We need to get our boys together more. Max is a good example for Andersen. He is such a good boy. I need to get some parenting tips from you. I guess we just can't give them popcorn.

Oh my goodness.. I can't believe he pulled out that Kernal with those scissors/tweezers. How the heck did it get in there anyways?? Did little Max put it in there?
